What is Turing?+
Turing is a free educational puzzle game that teaches digital logic and computer fundamentals. You build circuits from basic logic gates (AND, OR, NOT, NAND, etc.) and learn how computers process information at the hardware level.
Is Turing free?+
Turing is free to download and includes Chapter 1 plus a Chapter 2 preview. A single lifetime purchase unlocks the remaining chapters, projects, and creative challenges; there are no subscriptions or ads.
What age group is Turing for?+
Turing is designed for ages 12 and up. No prior knowledge of computer science or electronics is required. The difficulty ramps gradually from basic gates to more complex circuits.
Do I need to create an account?+
No. Turing works entirely without an account. Your progress is stored locally on your device. There is no sign-up, no login, and no personal data collection.
Does Turing collect my data?+
No. Turing collects zero personal data. There are no analytics, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs that phone home. Your activity stays on your device.
What topics does Turing cover?+
Turing covers logic gates (AND, OR, NOT, NAND, NOR, XOR, XNOR), combinational circuits (half adders, full adders, multiplexers, decoders), and introductory sequential circuits. The curriculum is inspired by university-level digital logic courses.
Can I use Turing offline?+
Yes. After downloading, Turing works completely offline. All puzzles, tutorials, and features are available without an internet connection.
What platforms does Turing support?+
Turing is available on iOS (iPhone and iPad) and Android.
How do I sync progress between devices?+
On iOS, enable iCloud sync in the app’s Settings screen. Your progress will sync automatically across your Apple devices. Android sync is not yet available.
